FG scraps award of HND certificates by Polytechnics in the country The Nigerian Government has rejected honor of HND declarations by Polytechnics. The choice was come to at the Federal Executive Council, FEC today where the endorsement of an exhaustive change of Nigeria's tertiary training framework was made. As a result, the honor of HND will be restricted to just the understudies at present conceded for the projects. Police arrest ‘most-wanted’ Offa robbery suspects

Two more suspects have been captured in the destructive equipped burglary assault in Offa, Kwara State, a month ago. The advancement comes three weeks after the police circled pictures of four presumes who were caught by shut circuit camera of the banks that they assaulted. No less than five banks were assaulted amid the April 5 episode. Seventeen individuals, including nine cops, were affirmed murdered by the police. The speculates arrested are: Kunle Ogunleye (a.k.a.: Arrow), a local of Kwara State, and Micheal Adikwu, a local of Apa Local Government Area, Benue State.
